In cement mills, ventilation is a critical key for maintaining temperature and material transportation. However, relationships between operational variables and ventilation factors for an industrial cement ball mill were not addressed until today. This investigation is going to fill this gap based on a newly developed concept named "conscious laboratory (CL)".
Ball mills are extensively used in the size reduction process of different ores and minerals. The fill level inside a ball mill is a crucial parameter which needs to be monitored regularly for optimal operation of the ball mill.
The sound sensor, mounted near the ball mill, gives an AC signal proportional to the Grinding noise which is a function of material bed level in the mill. This signal is routed through a shielded cable, integrated with the sensor unit.
