Why dont the mines have minerals? I dont get it, am I the only one annoyed I cant easily find minerals to use for crafting? am I just unlucky? Is there a common place where minerals spawn? Like high iron ore?
If you have raised your blacksmithing to the level at which high iron can be used (and have unlocked the necessary perk) and if your character is in the appropriate level range for steel equipment, you will only find high iron ore. The game determines what ore nodes you see based on blacksmithing skill and level; that is to say, 50% of alll ...

TexTiger. • 4 yr. ago. I actually did a whole spreadsheet on every raw mat, the potential value of the results, and if selling or refining was the better option. In most instances, refining will get you more in value than selling. Where it's better to sell the raw is platinum dust, rubedite ore, ruby ash, and some of the level 1 mats.
Online:Blacksmithing. Blacksmithing is a crafting profession in Elder Scrolls Online. This profession's specialty is to create and improve heavy armor and metal weapons in various styles of different races. To create a weapon or a piece of armor you need to be at a blacksmithing station. Such stations are also used to conduct research on ...
vStelo 7 years ago #9. The best way really is to farm Imperial City Sewers for Tel Var Stones so you can convert them into Rubedo Leather. Another thing you could do is save up every single rubedo leather armor piece you have to deconstruct it, although each one equals a single leather so you'll need to save up quite a lot.
Here you can see a character mining a Rubedite Ore which contained 3 Rubedite Ore, a Grain of Pearl Sand and a Platinum Dust in it. Rarely you can also find non blacksmithing related items in an ore that are used for other purposes, in this case here Platinum Dust which is used for Jewelry Crafting whereas the Grain of Pearl Sand which is part of the Order of the Hour Style.
High iron ore can only be obtained by players of a certain level (1525) or with a certain blacksmithing skill (one point into the first passive). Most players have maxed out blacksmithing so they get rubedite, or they haven't worked on it at all so they get iron. To know if your price is fair, look at other ores (except rubedite).
I just farm it in the wild. I max out my cp craft tree to get double mat drops and I regularly do mat hunting. I have literally thousands of platinum ounces built up. It adds up over time. Remember that metal ore nodes also drop some raw platinum regularly.
Incorrect. Half of nodes are based on character/champion level, half of nodes are based on skill point investment in the first crafting passive for that line. A level 50 character with 10/10 in the metalworking passive on an account with >= 160 champion points will always see rubedite ore.
Tevalaur wrote: ». You can gather top level mats in the DLC areas. That's what I do. Get mad rubedite ore. And farm skeevers in those areas for easy rubedo leather. Plus Anytime I get like 20k saved I'll spend like 14k on a 200 stack of it. Don't ever spend 20k people ask for it. You can easily find em cheaper.
There are four types of materials involved in Blacksmithing: Ores, Ingots, Tempers, and Gems. Ores are the raw materials that can be found in the world in mineral deposits. By themselves they cannot be used, but they may be refined into Ingots at any armor crafting station. Ingots are used to make Heavy Armor as well as all bladed or blunt ...

Rubedite cannot be harvested like the other resources in the game. It can only be obtained through Tel Var stone purchase or deconstructing a V15 or V16 item. It also is given by hirelings in mail. Master Crafter: Almost all motifs. GM~ Blades of Old Tamriel NA/AD. Member~ NZAD.
Rubedite Ore is a shiny dark red ore. It can be found in any zone by characters with Rank 10 in the Metalworking passive or 150 to 160. When mined, a node yields three to four samples of the raw material, Rubedite Ore. Once ten ore samples are collected, they can be refined into seven to ten Rubedite Ingots.
I keep raw items like Rubedite Ore on my characters until I refine them. Clothier (22 slots) : I keep two stacks each of Hemming, Embroidery, Rubedo Leather, and Ancestor Silk. I keep one stack each of Elegant Lining, Dreugh Wax, and secondary crafting materials (level 150, plus the 140cp materials Void Cloth and Shadowhide).
After this Ore refinement I refined Ash Wood, and I did get a lot back in those + 140 pieces. I never experienced having nothing with 120 pieces refining raw Ore.
